Partydress

Made wishlists allday, and when I watched the Bershka site, I fell in love with this dress.
I was looking for a partydress for this christmas and newyear, so just ordered this one!



I could choose between home delivery or pick up in Tilburg. While I'm studying in Tilburg, I took that option. I can get him next week. I'm curious!

Dream about.. summer

Because I don't feel well at all, and getting bored about that I made a lot of wishlists.
Most where in winterstyle, but when I filled my shopping bag at Monki.com, it came out fresh and summer-like.

I like the colors and the sleevelessness. (dont know if that's a word?)

Caire

Last week we had an guest-college at school, from the Caretakers, Coen and Maaike.
These two people have been ill by themselves, and they noticed they could really use some more help, during their illness and rehabilation. The demand for care is huge, bigger than the group op healthproffesionals. Another problem is the low budget for care in the Netherlands

What is it?
The caretakers are working at a new care platform, Caire.

You can ask and offer here your help. This is an example of how Caire works:

''Els is a single mother with breast cancer. She has a problem, because tomorrow she has to go to the hospital for her fourth chemotherapy treatment, but she hasn't any form of transportation.

''Els' friend told her http://www.caire.nu . Els decided to register to try to solve the problem.
Els is now using the social network to demand for transport. Els can choose who can see the questation. For instance, only friends of family or people in the neighborhood. Or everyone who registered on Caire.''

''Joop is retired and he wants to do something for the society, occassinally and not on a regular base.
Joop also decided to apply http://www.caire.nu . Joop loves driving and he indicates that he would like to help people who need transportation.''

The people who gives the help get a reward. The patient may give the caregiver star rating. With that system others users of Caire can see the good experiences from the pratient. The caregiver also receives flags in exchange for his help, with this flags he can get discount on his health insurance for example.

Why is it cool?

I think this is very unique, because it's a big network of help askers and givers all over the Netherlands. The patient don't have to worry if the caregiver really wants to help him, otherwise he had not offered his help to Caire. Caregivers can do something for the society, in their own spare time.

I think it's very cool that their is something developed in our society, trough Web 2.0 (social media), where help can me exchanged. So, the social network even has affect on people's health.

This is an great initiative by Coen and Maaike, and I wish them all the succes in the further developing of Caire!

Arizona ice tea

I don't know how about you, but Arizona drinks makes me happy! Arizona is a brand that makes delicious ice tea in beautiful arty bottles. Each flavor has a different designed bottle, which I really like.

This iced tea is quite new in the Netherlands, while it's sold for a while in other countries.
They sell fruit juices in other countries too. In the Netherlands this drink is available at Albert Heijn in different flavors like: peach iced tea, lemon iced tea, blueberry white tea, green tea with honey, pomegranate and green tea. Just try it out!

Yesterday I bought this lovely watch, for a while I've been looking for a small golden watch.

I'm not a person that has those big chunky watches on their wrist, it doesn't suit me. 

But i'm really happy with this one because it is small and sophisticated and you barely notice wearing it, which I like.

Diet2go App

I spotted this diet app this weekend, when I was looking for some nice apps in the android store for my dad's HTC desire. I have a blackberry, so there aren't many apps I can use *sadface*. This app is available for android phones, Iphones and soon for Ovi phones.

I definitely think this free, English, diet-app is a great invention.
In these days, many people are too fat and have too much weight. Many people are working on that with a diet. But in these days people are always busy, so somethimes it's difficult to think about dieting. Meantime, many people have smartphones, which they use all day.
Using this app can help you to keep you motivated.

You have to answer a couple of questions and after that you can choose a diet.
Every week there are new food schedules, and you can make an online shoppinglist.
And last but not least, the program gives you many tips and tricks for weightloss, which can motivate you.

New new new!

I went shopping today, with just a little money. I didn't like that, I saw too much nice things, but can't buy too much. I made pictures of everything, so I will show you the things I wanted later. Just bought two things today. A black see-true dress (hope you don't mind the dirty mirror, clean them H&M!) and dark brown shoes, which are very comfortable.

Topshop Wants

If I had just a little bit more money, I would defenitely buy one (or both) of these basic topshop pieces. I love the color of the top, just as the zipper in the back. I would like to wear the black see-true shirt with a high waisted shorts and blazer, together with some nice boots and jewellery.

Food hotspots (Den Bosch)

I love food! And to look for something different to eat in, in a cozy environment. Just to have a nice drink and something delicious with family or friends. I often come in Den Bosch (The Netherlands), cause I live in a village near Den Bosch . What also counts is that it is a very nice city and the shops are quite ok (it's nothing special but I'm glad with the Zara and H&M). And, very important, you can have very good food here! And guess what? This ariticle is about good food in Den Bosch. So if you ever be in Den Bosch, try something!

Pink Lemon

               

The Pink Lemon is really nice! I am always happy when I am there because of the interior and the nice menu. You can have lunch here, they have nice things to snack, delicious juices and smoothies, and you can have a high-tea too. Some things that I like to eat there are the Easy One bagel (cream cheese and chives), Love bagel (cheese, honey, walnuts), banana-honey muffin, brownie, all kinds of smoothies and juices, and the cheesecake is delicious. Chocolate Company

Anything you can get here anything that has to do with chocolate, sounds like heaven isn't it? Especially in winter I like to stop here for a delicious hot chocolate with a brownie or a piece of chocolate cake. They are famous about their hotchocspoons (chocolate on a stick) in over 50 flavors (!) You can also buy them to take home, so you can make some delicious hot chocolate overthere. De Groot

Bossche bollen! You really have to eat one if you love chocolate and whipped cream. De Groot is known as the best Bossche bollen maker in town. A Bossche bol is pastry which is whipped cream with a thin layer of dough and chocolate all over it. They are really nice, and huge. Sirtaki

Sirtaki This Greek is really good! I have been often in Greece, and I think the food there was awesome. Unfortunately here in the Netherlands it isn't the same, except for Sirtaki, this food comes very close.

Bagels&Beans

Bagels & Beans is a lunchroom which I think many people know, because they are in many cities. However, I think it deserves a place on this list. Just because the bagels and the pie are really delicious there. You must be lucky with a place because it is a very small building on the corner of the street, with just a couple of tables. I can not tell what I like the most, because almost everything here is delicious! A tip is the site of Bagels & Beans, you cna see the menu and some recipes so you can make it yourself at home.

Cantina San Juan

I am getting happy from their site, and restaurant. It's very nice, and the food is very tasty.
They have many types of tacos, fajitas and burritos, as well as nachos and much more! You can see the whole menu op http://cantinasanjuan.nl/. If you love mexican food, go there!

Merci Croissanterie

This shop is quite new but the building itself is really old, but when you walk by and you take a quick look, it is difficult not to go in and buy a treat. You can have lunch with tasty sandwiches, for example a fresh baguette with mozzarella and pesto. But they have really nice muffins, croissants and chocolatebuns.

De IJsvogel

The best ice cream in Den Bosch. They make it fresh, put it in a large bowl (to cool) and there they are creating your ice cream when your order. When the weather is nice, there often is a long queue in front of the store, but they are very fast there, so don't worry.

Den Bosch has also the standard things like Bart Bakker, La Place (2 times!), Mac Donalds, Hema, Australian, Delifrance, Wok to go and more!

Hey you! 

Welcome to our new blog, Dream about Clouds. 

We'll introduce ourselves a little bit and we'll tell you why we started this blog. 

Simone:
I had a couple of blogs before, the last one is called Estilo de Vida(http://estilodevida.punt.nl). The reason I started this blog is my study, but I'll tell you more about that later. 
My name is Simone, I'm almost 18 years old and I come from a little village near Den Bosch (The Netherlands). I'm searching for a nice room or appartment in Tilburg, together with Floor and Ilse (another classmate). 
Last year I got my Havo diploma and now I'm studying International Lifestyle in Tilburg. So far, I like it. We have a very very nice class, so I'm happy!
I like shopping (who doens't?), reading, be active on forums, running, partying, cooking, doing things with friends, listening music, chilling, eating and travelling. I am a bit lazy too. My friends are very important to me, so is my family!

Floor:
I'm pretty new with the whole idea of having my own blog and actually posting blogs. Though, I have been following a lot of blogs for a couple of years now, because I think it's interesting to know what is out there in the world and to get inspired. I have always wanted my own blog, but I guess I was to lazy for that before. Now I'm way more motivated, this is because of my new study and because I live in a city now. I really enjoy living in the city, it's a whole new world for me but I like a challenge! Furthermore, the things i like are kind of average. Most of all I love to find pieces of clothes that no one else has, it's really a challenge for me to find these pieces during my shopping time. Also I like to read romantic drama books, going out with my friends, swimming, going on unexpected trips and search the Internet for inspiring sites. Oh, and i love all kinds of music like dubstep, R&B, love songs and so on. 

About our study:

It's an international study based on trends and concepting in various factors: Appearance, Leisure, Human Movement, Health, Food and Living. And guess what, those are the things we really love! On this blog we will keep you updated about new concepts, our study, nice food, lovely fashion and so on.
